Sharon has practiced as a psychotherapist since 2001. She sees adults, adolescents, and couples with diverse concerns in her private practice. She honors their unique constellation of strengths and challenges, and utilizes a holistic framework to conceptualize the healing process. She strives to deeply connect and believes that through this intimacy clarity and direction will emerge. Working with addictive and compulsive behaviors is one of her specialties, while she is skilled in working with a broad range of concerns. Her style is deeply compassionate, intuitive, and, “down-to-earth.”

Sharon works at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA in the University Counseling Center. She is also the Drug and Alcohol consultant to Middlesex School in Concord, MA. People who would benefit:

Those seeking an alternative to traditional 12-Step and “disease models,” may find Sharon’s approach a refreshing change. She understands “symptoms,” within the context of past and present circumstances and works to understand with her clients the “psychological purpose,” of any seemingly self-destructive behavior. She will not impose a specific path to healing, but believes freedom, joy, and wisdom can be found through intentionality and deep self-exploration.
