Positional Release Therapy

_97z5000Positional Release Therapy is a cutting-edge program for recovery from chronic pain that can be used for self-healing. Through simple hands-on techniques, the body’s habitual holding pattern in a particular area is released. Results are immediate and often permanent, especially in combination with therapeutic yoga.  The techniques are gentle and easily learned. Clients have described the outcome as “magical.”

The positional release method combines strain-counterstrain, muscle energy technique, stretching, and home care to eliminate the causes of most neuromuscular pain patterns. These methods include body positions and movements that effectively treat pain caused by injury, stress, repetitive motion, postural distortion, and chronic neuromuscular conditions. I will give you a home treatment plan, which often includes yoga postures/movements to help you maintain the release and alignment gained from the positional release.

Yoga and Positional Release therapy can relieve: Back pain, Sciatica, Plantar Fasciitis, Neck and shoulder pain, Headaches, Fibromyalgia, Tennis & Golf Elbow, TMJ – jaw pain & clicking, Rotator Cuff injury, Knee pain, carpal tunnel.
