For over twenty years, Rezakkah has been working with people using various styles of massage. She is certified in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and esthestics. In addition, Rezakkah is a certified exercise trainer, an avid dancer, and a Reiki Master.

One of Rezakkah’s specialities is massage for people with cancer. She loves the challenge of this work. It is profound. It calls for an open heart, a deep appreciation for each person, and a healthy respect for both life and death.

Rezakkah also specializes in working with the face and neck. She has developed a protocol for healing the muscular aspect of TMJ. In the early 90’s, she designed “The Facelift Massage” for Four Seasons Hotel. Rezakkah has refined this totally natural, luxurious WholeBody Facial Treatment. It includes massage, lymphatic drainage, acupressure, ayurvedic techniques, and real skin food, like honey or oatmeal.

As a massage therapist and movement educator, Rezakkah’s goal is to help individuals understand and love their bodies no matter what their age or condition, and to live in their bodies more relaxed and more comfortable. She has a deep appreciation and respect for the eloquence with which each body expresses its inner spirit.

Rezakkah’s true passion in working with the body is understanding and “speaking” the language of the body, the senses. At a time when our culture is obsessed with appearance, we tend to forget that our bodies are intelligent organisms. They know what they need, and they tell us all the time, but we need to re-train ourselves to listen to their messages. In group classes and individual sessions, she teaches people to develop positive, life-affirming, and pain- relieving ways of interacting with their bodies.

“Rezakkah has been giving me massage for 18 years, every week or two! As she works, she “listens” with her hands to your body and responds to what she finds – undoing tension, knots, and patterns of movement you may not even realize were there. She is a true healer, and also a teacher – she shows you techniques you can do yourself to maintain your body with less tension or pain. I first began seeing Rezakkah while dealing with life- threatening illness. Her care is a huge part of why I have survived, and it has helped me cope through the ups and downs of every imaginable life transition. At the end of each massage, I find myself saying “Thanks for rescuing me – again.”
