Forrest Yoga
Forrest Yoga was developed to specifically address physical and emotional stresses and challenges. Using deep breathing Forrest Yoga teaches students to connect in feeling to their bodies, bringing aliveness to their cell tissue. Connecting to core, long holds in poses, and vigorous sequences bring us to our edge where we learn to navigate intelligently. Forrest Yoga is an inspiring yoga workout that builds flexibility, intelligence and strength while helping deepen the relationship to your authentic self.
Gentle/Restorative Yoga
Gentle/Restorative Yoga is excellent for beginners and experienced students seeking a slower, more relaxed class. Based on the energy cycle of Meridian Yoga, poses stretch and strengthen the mind and body. With props to support the body and open the breath Restorative Yoga helps dissolve our busy-ness and stress. We leave centered and refreshed from the inside out.
Meridian Yoga
Meridian Yoga is an active style of yoga that combines traditional yoga poses with resistance stretching. Muscles contract as they lengthen creating true flexibility, strength and release of tension. As muscle groups activate they stimulate the meridians or energy pathways of the body, affecting an energetic shift towards health and balance. Partner assists help us go deeper into the pose. The practice of Meridian Yoga can be deeply satisfying; unifying the body, mind and heart and spirit, this practice centers us in or daily lives as we become more and more ourselves.
