Psychotherapy for Individuals
“Life is so hard, how can we be anything but kind?” (Jack Kornfield)
This is collaborative and dynamic counseling work, based in the client’s strengths, preferences and values. I work with adults, young adults and elders to nourish courage and calm, wisdom and clarity. The work can be short-term or long-term, cyclical or one-time, depending on the client’s goals and treatment needs.
Psychopharmacology
Sometimes when distressing symptoms or concerns affect a person’s life, there are biological aspects to the problem that can be helped in part by medication. When requested and appropriate, I work with the client to do a full evaluation re: possible psychopharmacologic treatment options.
