improbable PLAYERSImprobable Players sets the stage for prevention by educating the public about addition/recovery through dramatic performances and drama workshops. All of the young actor/educators are theater artists in long-term recovery, and all the plays have been developed from their life stories.
The troupe has toured their arts-in-prevention programs to schools, colleges and conferences since 1984. Theater is a powerful way to learn – it captivates, educates, and motivates: one vivid scene is worth a thousand words.
Occasionally the Players hold Open Workshops and invite participation in the play development process.
